Mint is obviously a very foil bar, but not so bad.
I worked there and I was quite paid as promised.
It is not like the Dundees Sports Bar, just near, which belongs to the same company (Future 3000 Plc), which never pays his foreign workers. They always have excuses to make you wait your paid, but if Mint has money from Future 3000, the Dundees has too. Everybody knows that. The only way to avoid this scandalous situation is to boycott the Future 3000 Plc bars.

Visited Pool from Kent for a girlie weekend.

Like the other person that commented previously, we were also a bit concerned about the people that may be in Mint, after seeing some of the sights beforehand in other bars.

We loved Mint. It's very funky and the double layer works really well. There are different areas depending what you're after and the music was just right.

A good night had by all!!

We thought the drinks were quite well priced as only an extra 1 for a double and the toilets were possibly one of the best I've ever been in - wasn't sure what to expect but worked really well - good fun!

I went to Mint last Saturday and have got to say it was the best night out I have had in ages. Having seen some of the clientele around other pubs in Poole we were a bit worried about what we would find at its "most popular night club". To my huge relief we found the place to be commendably chav free. The prices were a bit higher than a regular pub but no more expensive than a Saturday night out in any town. The decor was fantastic, the layout was good and the unisex toilets were a suprise. We will definitely be visiting again.

Visited a couple of times but now won't go out of principal. Although the decor is all very nice, I still can't get to grips with the unisex toilets. All very continental but not sure it works in its entirity for Poole. On a weekend the prices rise the later it gets and it's quite simply NOT the Viking Club!

Dont like it one bit, Drinks far to over priced 3.60 for a pint of carling! Always full of idiots and Uni sex toilets what were they thinking, they constantly need security in there as people feel the need to get close in a communual area. I also found the bar staff to be extremely rude, i got told to f'in move and when i compalined all I got was a shrug!

Went in Mint mostly to see if they were as fussy as Oyster Quay (I had trainers on) - I got in OK and although I had told myself I wasnt going to like the place I found it rather nice, beer was a tad expensive and I was intrigued to find that every pump on the bar sold Grolsch. Good effort has been put into the feel of the place, unisex toilets are an interesting concept and I wonder if anyone has made use of the leather 'bed' that is upstairs :)

A new addition to The Quay, this is an ultra-trendy bar which had only been opened two days when I went there. All contempory furniture and tv screens (even set into the bar!) and unisex toilets, this will probably be the place to be seen in in Poole, although the Real Ale crowd may disagree!
