I am talking about yet again transients coming into the pubs and disrupting the ambience! Only last week there was a man, who was so drunk he fell off his stool into the christmas tree, made some sexist comments to the barmaid and then left!

Eric,the host was away & the beer quality dived downhill then recovered once he had returned.Truly he is a beer god.

Nice old building originally residence of local shipbuilding family.Now has cask marque accreditation,the beers expertly kept by genial host,Eric.The food is good,there is a large seating area outside and as a bonus,in my eyes anyway,there is no TV or music playing,a rarity nowadays.Altogether a gem and always a pleasure to visit.
