I was a barman at this pub from 1969 to 1971. The publicans were Vic and Marie Roberts. I would work 5 shifts per week. We had a very busy public bar and good darts team and the lounge bar, more up market, was always full. The landlord Vic always wore a dinner jacket and bow tie or suit and bow tie. Marie always wore her hair up and would dress in a 2piece suit. Vic drove an 11 year old Rolls Royce and they owned a place on the Thames at Marlow. Whilst there they had a Great Dane and Jack Russell, a parrot and a monkey but the monkey didn't stay long! I think they had a son called Dudley (?) who was married. My nickname was Flash as I always wore a suit or sports jacket with a pocket handkerchief. This was a very busy up market pub which I was happy to be associated with./

Drove by and it looks like it is open again! Lights on and a few bods at the bar with pints of lager. Good to see it is not another victim boarded up.

I have to echo zippy's comment below. Seems like nothing has changed in the 7 months since he commented. Rude sexist staff, impossible to get a clean glass and a scary atmosphere for two girls trying to have a chat and a drink.

Recently went in this pub and wont return.......

What is it will pubs in feltham !!! They all have the clicky chav virus !!

Was made to feel so unwelcome and couldn't wait to finish my drink and get out !!
The staff were rude and i dare not look any of the pub goers in the eye for fear of what it would cause.

The pub has so much potential and its such a shame as i remember going in here many years back and always having a good drink and great time with whoever i got chatting to in there.

Oh how it has changed and not for the better. Such a shame.

I last went into this pub in 1961. It was a bit of a dump even then..

Great entertainment on both Friday nights with live music and Karaoke on Saturdays. Work on the garden with new smoking area now started and progressing just in time for those winter nights, it will have heaters and lights. Food will start to be served from Thursday 01 November with Thai offering English menu with Roasts on Sundays.

THis pub is great. The entertainment at the weekends is second to none. Lee and Annette make you feel more than welcome and the locals are a good old bunch really and are up for a laugh. No food, but the beer makes up for it and the company. Definately worth popping in, you will definately go back.
