In a very upmarket town, this is a much more down-at-heel kind of place and I'd normally appreciate that. But the place was packed early on a Saturday evening as there was live music. It had started at 6pm, which seemed a strange time to have something on. But it had certainly attracted a large crowd. The car park was completely full and it took almost 10 minutes to get served. Making yourself heard above the din and over the people crowded around the bar was also a challenge. There was however a rear dining area that was empty and a small outdoor area adjacent to the car park. Ales were Brakspear Bitter, Sharp's Doom Bar & Rebellion IPA & Blonde. Moved on from here to the Royal British Legion next to the station, which is not listed on here but stocks a more diverse range of ales.

A bit tired inside in a modernised pub gone to seed kind of way. Local brew Rebellion blonde was on and in good condition but oherwise, the beer selection is unimaginative. Very quiet of a saturday bank holiday afternoon.

This is a pub I will usually visit when I go to Marlow as the beer is normally good and it's handy for both the town centre; the river and the station. Nicely furnished with a good outdoor seating area. I had an excellent pint of Rebellion "Googly" but they also had Caledonian 80/- and Brakspear's Bitter. Always worth a visit.

Really nice welcoming comfy pub with a couple of Rebellion ales - Deflation at 2.90/pint, not bad at all. TV a bit intrusive especially when 'Eastenders' came on, perhaps no one was watching it though? On the Marlow back streets so maybe take a map.

Ate in the Thai restaurant, staff were friendly, had the red snapper, bit pricey but you got what you paid for, it was absolutely wonderful! They had Rebellion Overthrow on, very nice indeed.

Right about the rugby club - preferential treatment to them. An OK boozer, wouldn't consider "friendly" nothing special

Good, back street boozer. Good choice of ales, always have the Rebellion Beer of the month on.

Gets busy at weekends, especially with the rugby club, but they're normally good humoured.

A little off the beaten track (High Street), but thai food in the evening is very reasonable. Refurb has definitely opened up this locals pub. You can even sit out on the patio in the summer - much improved.

Very friendly people, decent enough honest food and good beer. Light and airy feel as well. Doesn't look all that from the outside but the welcome is very warm. They did us proud with a big family event recently
