The best pub in Bath. Unpredictable hours though, so give it a bell before going up there in case it's not open. Book if you want to eat! Excellent food, and deadly strong cider. Gorgeous location, especially in summer.

My closest decent pub, friendly locals, one of my favourite ales on tap (Doombar), very good food and the beer garden looks like it will be cracking come summer!

lovely pub, good beers and decent draught ciders.
i have been coming here for years , the only prob is the latest landlord who sits and reads a newspaper whilst you stand and wait for a bar maid to come free.

Tried eating here twice, both times its been too full to get a table. Plenty of space in the outside garden but it wasnt really warm enough to sit out. I imagine the fullness of this (admittedly rather small) pub means its good though! Will keep trying.
