please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

The new licencees, Gary and Vicky, have now settled in, and the beer quality is superb. Although the range is limited to the usual Marston's assortment, they couldn't be better kept and Gary makes use of such specials as Marston's make available.

Food is excellent, and the 2 for 10 menu is wonderful value. Well worth the few steps up from the canal bank.

Ate there for the first time in 10 years at the weekend. Excellent food, a definite cut above the average pub meal, and very good value. Highly recommended.

Most of the previous reviews are out of date as the pub has been transformed by the new owners. Situated adjacent to the Shropshire Union Canal in the village of Audlem, it is worth seeking out. We organised lunch for a large party there and came away well satisfied. Landlady, Bridie, could not have been more helpful in putting together a menu specifically for our requirements and budget. The food was excellent and good value. Service was professional and polite. Thoroughly recommended

Previously the pub in Audlem that only got busy after the other two closed, the Bridge was given a makeover in 2009 and much improved.

felt quite confined and dark, could do with a lick of paint but the food, ale and friendly staff as well as good service made up for this. quite enjoyable and with good access to the canal for short walks.

Real ales served, and reasonable priced food. Situated on the Shropshire Union Canal, beer garden, kids welcome. Place could maybe do with a lick of paint but proper drinkers pub and plenty of characters, very friendly staff and customers.
