This place is an ASK pizza place. May as well be listed as closed.

Looks as though this place is going to be an ASK pizza restaurant.

Shut down by the police after a violent brawl.

its better than it was. but, i can see it going back the way it went when it was the old bank. and thats not a great thing.

If you like to drink in near total darkness, standing up, surrounded by the extra chromosome having locals, and go home poor, then this is the place for you.

Smart looking, well maintained bar. Nice drinks list with some I had not seen before but enjoyed trying!! Staff friendly & fast. I liked it and so did my colleagues.

Looks classy, if a little dark, and has the potential to be easily the best of Epsom's High Street pubs (although granted it isn't exactly up against stiff competition). Service was quick, and friendly, food looked OK, good range of drinks.

So why spoil it by having a DJ? Why, why, why?

This place is like a bigger, better looking, more expensive version of the marquis of granby but without the relaxing feel!

Don't get me wrong though I do love coming here. It's refreshing. If only they could bring they're prices down a tad it would undoubtibly become probably the best in Epsom in my mind!

Way way way overpriced for a pub (coz thats all it is). Wouldnt serve me on a tuesday night because i was wearing a rugby top. Its trying to be something its never gonna be. Your wasteing your time going to this place.

Good face lift of the previous Old Bank which was originally classy back in '99 but had turned into a dive.
However my friend had her bag stolen when in their wisdom the bouncers moved the chair on which it was sitting with out checking for an owner! They were extremely unbothered by this. She was extremely upset.

Really great start... targeted to the right market. In a town filled with "Cheap Beer/Cheap Food/Chav/Student/Loud Music" pubs (strange for an up-market suburban area)... it looked like something NEW and it WAS! It was great... BUT... as a place that tags itself as a "place to unwind"... (NOW) with the very loud bad music blasting in you head like a bad 70s disco, you can hardly hear yourself talk (forget trying to have a conversation with anyone).... and a bizarre mishmash of hoodies, chavs, and what seems like a glut of junior estate agents + once great food gone poor ... their tag as a "place to unwind" is false advertising.

An obligatory 'one after work' became 'several after work' encouraged by the oh-so-fabulous cocktails served by smiley-happy table-service staff. To round off the evening and ward off the hangover some great food was to be had as well. Go here if you want a good night out in an smart bar with a great atmosphere.

This shoddy attempt at a face lift has only masked the original monstrosity of the old bank.
Toilets are the same mistreated cesspools where you're more scared of catching an STD than a loose piece of toilet paper stuck to your shoe.
The staff it has to be said are polite and helpfull although I think the manager might have a penchant for large breasted women!
The pitch black atmosphere is absent at best yet spoilt by the mishmash of inappropriate music!
The drinks are rather pricey in veiw of other bars in the area and tend to be served in warm glasses.
I will be looking forward though to my return visit (but only because I left my phone there) where I will be trying the food!

last summer's refurbishment has turned this place into a stunning style bar with lively atmosphere, discreet & comfortable seating and a straigtforward, unfussy menu. in epsom, one of its kind.
