I've never been to this pub in the evening, largely because I've seldom been unfortunate enough to find myself IN Plymouth in the evening, but during the day it serves a nice pint, with some relatively competent barstaff.

Used to be okay for a brief period in the early 90's when it still had a duke box. See Jack Stamps and the Endurance for ethos guide.
Good for: Aspiring hard nuts

if you've been banned from anywhere in Plymouth, you'll get in here - everyone is as rough/hard as each other so no one usually bothers kicking off
