The Pub is top drawer in every way. Roaring Fire. Friendly people. Great Home made food at weekends. Graze on Homemade mini pies at £1 to leave some room for beer. 5 independent ales always in excellent condition, from breweries such as Pheonix and Outstanding, at £2.40 a pint...

Our second visit, afternoon again, this time we ate and the food was excellent, all of the salads are locally grown and home-made pie was amazing.

The ale was perfect.

No longer Copper Dragon, new owners have continued the tradition. Was impressed with the beer selection, 5 local micros, including a pump for Bridestones. Had a pint of Green Mill Talisman from Rochdale, good quality and a snip at 2.20..

Me and my wife called on a Saturday afternoon which was quite busy, the pub itself is recently refurbished and very nice and cosy with 2 coal fires going, as already mentioned it is dog friendly but the other room is presumably not for dogs but for people who may not be dog friendly.
We tried all 5 ales which were all very well kept and all from local breweries.
Definately worth the just under a mile walk from town and a better walk along the canal towpath.

This is a really friendly (and dog friendly) pub. The landlord and landlady were very welcoming to us and our dog. It is an interesting building with a chequered history. The tables in the tap room are actual mortuary slabs! The beer selection is good, there were 3 real ales on when we were there, including 2 from the Copper Dragon Brewery. We had the Copper Dragon Best which was excellently kept. They don't do food any more as there is no demand but they do do butties Fri, Sat and Sun. The loos were clean and well supplied with loo paper, soap and a hand dryer that worked (so many pubs neglect their facilities)! I would recommend this pub to anyone who would like to enjoy good real ale in ambient surroundings.

Small Copper Dragon boozer nestling under the imposing railway viaduct and 100yds from the Rochdale Canal towpath in typical rustic Pennine scenery. It's opened out with two main areas either side of the door, one with a small TV and one with a very cheap pool table- 30p! Three Copper Dragon brews plus a guest available. My Golden Pippin was excellent as ever. Staff friendly but pub very quiet for a Saturday afternoon. Nice unspoilt pub and worth the small detour on a canal walk.

Great little pub on the outskirts of Todmorden, Copper dragon beers on pump & friendly bar staff, Called in here a couple of Fridays ago whilst visiting family & left well refreshed.
Open fire, Beams & wooden tables compleat the traditional pub feel,
The food is also recomended & i was told Sunday lunch is very good...A hiden gem.

Victorian two room pub with friendly staff, decent range of well-kept Copper Dragon beers (Best Bitter, Black Gold and Golden Pippin on a quietish midweek afternoon, all up to scratch) stripped wood tables and a real coal fire.

A great real ale pub, owned I believe by the Copper Dragon brewery at Skipton.Sampled some of their brews as well as a Swindon brewery one.Pub has Sky Sports so we got our Rugby League 'fix'.Interesting old local photographs adorn the walls.Good background music and very friendly staff and landlord.
