Very much a gastropub with nearly all tables reserved for diners on our Friday evening visit. Food was good but pricey and a reasonable range of well kept & served ales. Friendly service but too food oriented for my liking.

Still the best pub in town. Warm & cosy in the Winter thanks to the two AGA type stoves, and the best chips for miles.

Excellent pub with frequent changes of real ale, always fresh and well kept. Roaring fire in Winter and dog friendly. The local cider, Jollydale, is highly recommended. Imaginative menu of good food, reasonably priced. Folk music night is last Sunday evening of the month. Not open lunchtime during the week.

Tucked away in the Lincolnshire countryside this is an excellent friendly village place, with 3 real ales on hand pull along with Leffe on draught. Nice separation of eating and drinking so you don't feel either party is being imposed upon. Food is also top notch and worth visiting for in its own right (Steak and Guiness has to be tried!) Beer festivals held periodically.
