Pint of London Pride last Friday had a distinct vinegary taste, I'm afraid. No one else was drinking it.

There is only one good thing about this pub, it is, that it is right opposite the Wallingford Tandoori, which is undoubtably the best Indian Resturant in South Oxfordshire, I work in Reading and we make the trip every other week to this fabulous place, the Duck Shaslik is a dream......... don't take my word for it, try it yourselves........

This pub is not on my favourites list ..... i do not know how it still survives, but..it has a pool table and on my last visit there were only 3 people in the pub and the pool table was empty. Brizzle and i had a game of pool and were challenged by the locals (3 of them)..we thrashed them and decided we had to make a quick getaway. Dead pub, but great pool table ..beer = tolerable.

Lease For Sale outside at the moment. There is hope.

What an awful place! It's handily close to the river (me and a friend were walking the Thames Path), and that's what lured us in. Psychotic looking bar staff were hanging out with their mates and serving us beer with deep scowls. Looks like a tip too, with its dated rock murals all over the walls.
