Good spot for a couple of drinks of an evening, although very light on the ale front, bottles only. Not that kind of place though I guess. Good music for the more mature and discerning patrons, and not too townie when we were in - unlike the wetherspoons across the way with a bunch of hoodied gents chugging fags in the sub-zero temperatures!

Went for a party in Bentleys, nice chilled out venue with great food, drinks and very attentive staff!

Ended up staying until 2am, the back bar is free to rent out for private parties such as the one i attended, dj was really good and they have two pool tables and a wii which is free to play on!

The cocktail list is very good, i'd recommend working your way through it! Definitely my new local!

Fantastic job done by the new owners. The bar before was looking tired and out of date. The new refurb is modern and stylish with funky chandeliers and big gold mirrors. They have gotten rid of the old bar all the way at the back and now have a comfy lounge area with sofas, booths a pool table and a Nintendo Wii which you can play until the early hours. Great fun after a few drinks!!

I had a party out in the back bar which they book out for free with 100 or so of my friends. We had a great time, they kept our drinks toped up and our bellies full of food with a fantastic buffet. Highly recommended......

Certainly has to be one of the best bars in Cheltenham!

This a chilled friendly bar with smiley, helpful and enthusiastic staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them on my recent vist to the bar. The food we had was exceptional for the price! I would defiantley recommend the cajun chicken burger with crispy bacon and feta cheese as extras, this will certainly become one of my regular haunts and there open until 2am, who needs to go anywhere else?

Service disgraceful. No smiles, no anything. Food - two of our party got served after 30 min (pub was empty so not as if delay due to being busy. Two remaining got served after 45 min. Asked for: (a) no butter (emphasised an allergy); and (b) asked for a "buffalo mozarella" (as per menu) baguette. Not only was it made up on brown bread (and not a baguette) but there was butter on them and the mozarella? It was processed cheap stuff that I would struggle to even put on a homemade pizza. It said Buffalo. Fresh Buffalo? This is false advertising.
The staff were so grumpy. It was a truly horrific experience and I would NEVER eat there again. I am disgusted that you think you can rob people like this.

Have been to this pub for years, Sweeney Todds before Bentleys too. The doormen here are v.rude and unfriendly. I remember the old days when they had just one man per night - (Rich Lewis, Al Exton and especially Mark Maycock )these chaps were always ultra friendly, very smart and professional and to be honest instilled the fear of god into and chav or local trouble maker that may want to get in. They provided the only higher class, trouble free and relaxed atmosphere place in Cheltenham and are now sadly missed. This pub is just another of the many tacky wine bars in Cheltenham. Bring back real doormen!! Get rid of the wannabees!!!!

Been going there for years and do like the place. However my mate who is a company director and spent a fortune in the place over the years was rudely turned away with his wife for what the doormen said were shoes that were too sporty looking. So well done Bentleys now for loseing 6 good, no trouble, high spending customers.
