Rough pub/bar.
Doesn't really know if it wants to be a trendy bar or a pub.
Often trying new promotions etc but usually unsuccessful.
Have just started serving real ales; although were off on the day I visited - pipes hadn't been cleaned.
Another customer asked which real ale they were selling and was nearly given an off pint by a clueless bar person, even though the pump clip had been turned around.

where have all the girls gone?used to be loads.good bar and decent beer.people are friendly and are out for a laugh.great for live acts.even had graeham park on a couple of times.

went here to see a band the other week. it was really busy but i dunno if thats normal. i wasn't drinking so i can't comment on the beer (bit pointless me reviewing a pub i hear u say!) the band were brilliant called 'the volga boatmen' absolutely fab! seemed like a nice place

Its alright. Used to ave a sexy barmaid mmm!! The beer is nice too though.

abode is okay, lacking a bit of atmosphere, not auite at the standard of it's neighbour - The Bar,
good beers, excellent friendly service & haven't tried the food
