user reviews of the Bridge Inn, Yatton

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Devoid of any soul, decent beer and atmosphere, not really got much going for it. Just one ale on tap, the below average abbot ale, and the usual choice of rubbish lager. One to drive straight past.

Oh and its also a hotel although I dread to think of what the rooms must be like judging by the standards in the pub.

It's a Hungry Horse (AKA Greene King) so you know exactly what you're going to get: Crappy GK beer, disgusting micro / deep fried food, incorrect orders, terrible service, long waits bored disinterested staff with all motivation removed by the GK traing school.
Worse than wetherspoons, at least they dont pretend to offer quality.

Had the unfortunate task of taking a pensioner here, despite my telling him what it was like. But' he found out the hard way in the end. Pile it high and serve it cheap. and in this particular case lukewarm

This is the 2nd pub of this chain i have tried, and quite some distance apart.
Both on the decor front are dire and well worn, The best point is the prices are very cheap for what you get but,the processed food that arrives is bland tasteless and, both my occasions lukewarm as is the staff. Geared up for families and food to match. If the food was good then the prices would be a lot higher, having said that my pint of greene king was AOK untill i started on my food then it went flat as the preverbial pancake. one to avoid i think.

My gosh this has to be the worst pub I've visited in a while. I was with 8 family members and our food order was completely wrong. After waiting a long time for our food, when 3 of the family had finished there meals the manager came over wih what we thought was my sons meal he said 'Plaice gougons' I said do you mean fish fingers? The manger looked at me as if I was a nutcase and said do these look like fish fingers. Any way he arrived back red faced 2 minutes later he had the 'fish fingers'. The staff were so disorganised it was untrue, still they were being lead by a Monkey.

One of the worst Pubs I have visited for some time.Sloppy service, no atmosphere, nasty food at crazy prices.Hungry Horse chain which permits children to rampage around until closing time. Avoid: try the Drum and Monkey up the road.

Hideously overpriced food, I went there a few years ago to a wedding reception and was served the smallest glass of wine imaginable!

Come to the reasonably priced and filling Sundaylunch in this friendly pub, with the rest of North Somerset.
