typical dont care, we have a captive audience and will charge them what we like attitude here. food is ok but so overpriced and the whole impression is of a hobby pub run for the few regulars.

oh Rob for goodness sake get a grip of your staff. Bunch of "nobody cares" were in charge the night I visited with yachtie tottie flashing tits and nickers - sadly not matching collars and Cuffs. Beers were awful, food was cold - and I don't mean the gespatchio - service was crap. Time tosack the dross,

This is one of our favourite places to eat and drink in Lymington. The bar is always lively and the standard of food is good. Its a dog friendly place so we frequently visit with our dog and eat in the snug. Its not cheap but the quality of food and service is good.

I feel sad... I recommended this bar eaterie for inclusion on this notable site. Oh dear, how sad. It has failed the Plumbpudding test. Rob, you need to do better my boy and that arse PJ needs to be removed at all costs.

Used to be a really good eating out and night out place, now its just far to cliquee, with people who airkiss!

Watch out for the loud obnoxious northerner who ventures in frequently, thinks he is everybodys friend

Not normally put off by people but whenever I have gone there its been really unfriendly. The landlord is a character but peers through his half moons at you like your at school being glared at by the head teacher. All the ingredients of a great bar just too cliquee.

Excellent mussels!
Tiny bar area though with only a few seats that the boat people take, so you end up being in the restaurant all night, oustside seating available if its good weather though

Started life as a Restaurant with a bar, now most certainly a Bar with a very good restaurant. Rob the owner is a well seasoned expert in the boozer business. Place is heaving from May through to September. Beer is good, atmosphere is brilliant
