Saw a cracking band Ark here on Sunday. One pump for Hobgoblin which wasn't on. Keg Banks's Original and Bitter, other similar stuff too. Probably about 3 as a pub and 9 as a gig venue.

Great gig , legendary.
Guinness in a plastic glass, not ideal[but understandable]. Service perfectly pleasant from barmaids of a certain age.

Seen a few bands here over the last few years. Always met with happy staff.

As a small music venue it is fine, you can get served while listening to the music and often quickley. Beer is the usual stuff, but it does have Banks's MILD smooth as well, which has always been decent enough. I wouldnt really visit it just for a pint, but i havent been to many better places to combine music and beer. As LickeyEndBooze says, really you would have a few pints at the Old White Rose or the Trumpet first then go to Robin 2

As a music venue it is fantastic, as somewhere to drink it is pretty average. Top dollar for fizz served in plastic. Do yourself a favour and get to Bilston early and visit the White Rose first.

Went to see a band here and unlike most live music venues they let you outside for a smoke and all the doorstaff were friendly.Had some top quality Banks's mild aswell.Dr's verdict - best music venue in West Mids.

This is a pub come concert venue which recently won an award for best small venue (under 500 ppl). It has two mini seperatly named bars, one of which has a restaurant.
Unfortunately on my visit, there were seats provided for only 33 people in the concert area, and the beer prices were astronomical compared to the attached mini-pub Woodys, with 2 pints increasing n price by 66%!!
The staff were polite and friendly and seemed almost apologetic for the obvious hike in price and lack of seating.
No Real Ales available at all in any of the areas, but overall the place was very clean and convivial and would certainly be worth a visit to the Woodys area as you pass by.
