This pub was shut on 17th Feb 2006. Not boarded up, no closure notices, just shut.

With all due respect, I think the previous comment sums this pub up.

This place is a glorified creche. If you never went to CVMS, don't go there on a friday night, you won't know anyone. As for the other 6 days of the week, don't go there, you won't know anyone because there's no-one there.

the barmaid is actually a barman so it seems mr beeronaut was the drunk and not the landlord...i use this watering hole every thursday and some weekends for the last three years and have never found it hostile mr beeronaut should stick to wine bars sipping 1 glass of wine every 2 hours,,wake up man get a life ...pubs are where real men go for a beer.

I went in here ten years ago and found it hostile. Thought I'd give it a second go a few weeks back. It's still hostile. The barmaid didn't seem to speak English and the landlord appeared to be drunk. Most of the pub is occupied by a pool table. You may get the picture by now.

Smaller than I thought, well kept pool table , decent players,
I'll be back.

A good pre-gig pub, tried it out yesterday. Short walk from Hammersmith Apollo but it was pretty empty. Had to wait for an argument about which football match to be resolved before I could order. THe barmaid was eyeing up a couple of the blokes I was with, so maybe what they say about her is true....
A bit of a 'local' pub but not unfriendly for all that. Worth the odd pint or two.

Good old fashioned boozer. With Irish ownership. Pool table, darts board, juke box, Sky TV, good selection of drinks at great value!
What more could you want!!
