Not coming from the area I had no idea what to expect, but The Lion at Pennard was a real find on a cold winters lunchtime at Christmas time. Great beer, good food (huge portions and creatively presented), really warm atmosphere and friendly staff who went out of their way to help. Will definitely return when next visiting the family.

This great pub is under new management. Andy and Jane have made this the best pub around for good food a fabulous wine list, and a great atmosphere. Its got eight romms for B+B guests so.....go for it!
