Converted into a Cash converters outlet, that just about sums up Swindons Chav town centre.

Big sign up now 'For sale' so even Arkells have given up on this place.....

Still closed and boarded up.

Newly closed and boarded up, shame as many years ago it used to be a proper pub serving decent beer and grub, gradually over the years it has been rethemed and ruined. Surprise surprise its now closed. Fits in well with Swindons dismal half boarded up shopping centre.

Don't know what the last review was all about, I've never seen any footie fans let alone hooligans.
Just had a refurb haven't been in yet, but I bet it's still an oasis of decency in down town Swindon.

The flag serves Arkell's and is a good place to listen to live music, especially mid-week.
Large comfy sofas are available when it's not too busy.

This pub is more like a local in the centre of town surrounded by busy pubs & clubs!!!!
The bar staff are great, it is friendly & cosy! The variation of live music is great!
They no longer do food :( But it is great for a starting point & not as rough as some other pubs in town! Overall, a good laugh!

It's not the same as the other places round here.
To be honest I don't frequent the place very much but that's down to location more than anything else.
It's an Arkells pub set in the middle of the drink fuelled, youngster filled mayhem that is downtown Swindon. They don't play the music so loud that you can't have a conversation and so it's not so overrun with "the youth of today". Every time I've been in the doorman and barstaff have been okay. Wouldn't be my first choice for a night out, but I certainly wouldn't object to meeting people here.
Basically it's a proper pub set amongst the disco bars of downtown.

this pub is a discrace. i have had to go into this pub to get drinks off customers who bought a drink in the pub i work in and then got pubwatched and the staff in the flag dont question them.they just let them drink a drink from another pub

this place is a waste of space. they need to extend broadwalk to make that place better as its a dive. they are both a dive each time i walk past there are about 3 customers there. dont know how they make the money to pay their rent.
