The beer festival was great, lots of different ales to try, and a free T shirt. being a lager man, i was quite surprised at the amount of ale i managed to drink, good weekend, thanks Dan, cant wait for the next one.

Went in the other night, fantastic, the locals in there have this strange ring and string game, ive not seen it before, some could do it easy, others could not get it for tryin, i had a few goes, but only got it once, after a lot of trys, great night in there, we had a good laff, and i met some silly buggers, who made me feel welcome, and sorry i had to go go ome, but thats life, go down and check it out, the game is free, and anyone can play, but the beer will get you drunk, and the locals in there will make you late home

New Landlords, Heather and Dan. Very nice couple who have changed the pub around considerably in the year they've been there. Great selection of real ales now including Skinners and now do food all day. If your a local or a visitor and like great beer in a friendly pub,I recommend the Copperhouse. It also has entertainment including good local bands.

Called in last Wednesday. Apparantly no longer serves any food in the evening. Had to go down to the Cornish Arms to get something to eat.

What a friendly pub. Only visited it in the mornings for their breakfasts so can't comment on their evening clientelle but if the mornings are anything to go by then this is a cracking pub. Great food, breakfasts were fresh, fast and cooked by the landlord. Very cheap too for food and drink and good for kids as there's a no smoking family area for food. Nice large layout with tv, pool and many fruit machines, friendly barmaid and nice seating and decor. Some entertainment was advertised for the coming season. If in Hayle give it a look in I'm sure you won't be disappointed. No disabled facilities.

Local institution and meeting place, has had live music most Thursday nights since anyone can remember, occasional other entertainment as well on different nights. Local and sometimes brewery-sponsored touring bands. Limited range of beers, tries to be trendy and service the young drinkers instead. Also limited food selection lunch / early evenings. Separate games bar with pool / darts etc. Low beamed ceiling and artefacts from former copper mining days gives it a warm welcoming atmosphere.
