Used to walk past it every day without entering due to dodgy looking people smoking outside. Plucked up the courage to go in there and it's ok! Courage Best and Doom Bar on tap. Sometimes show footy on TV but whenever I went down there they had a quiz night.

Beer ok, ambience awful.

Under new management. Beer (only Courage Beast at the moment) not only drinkable but actually quite good. The old place is getting smartened up no end. Garden cleared and there'll soon be BBQs. New landlord very affable fellow. Glad to see that the decline of this boozer wasn't terminal after all, and that things are definitely looking up.

Just reopened, cleaned up and looking quite nice, only have Best on, but the new landlord is looking to go into siba so worth keeping an eye on

This is a waste of bricks. Getting served is a chore as the barmaid is always doing crosswords and gets tetchy if you break her concentration. Has those strange opening hours as well. Usual suspects to drink as well as thatchers " what are you looking at Cider ". Bit of a hillbilly boozer.

This pub died many years ago.

RIP.

Please widen the Lower Bristol Road, and send this pub to the big brewery in the sky.

Family flowers only.
