Oh dear...I now hear it's back on the market. Looks like the previous two postings were a bit premature.

This pub has enormous potential! It is centrally situated and has a very pleasant garden. If the new landlord sorts the availablity of the food out then he is onto a winner.
Great staff and friendly locals who deserve to see their local flourish

Under new management, looks promising if they can control bad language in the bars as this place has the potential to be a superb family pub with a good garden, easy parking and very good staff.

Dear All, thanks for your comments, they are always gratefully recieved, both positive and negative. Although to reply to one comment, I have not lost interest but that weekend was the first weekend of owning another pub, so I was tied up!!!
Regards,

Had a very enjoyable evening here 2/2/06, a few eating, a few drinking..etc..etc...

This pub is starting to show real promise when 'Gareth and gang' have their hands on the helm and Nicky is in charge of the kitchen.

The staff are great, landlord appears to have lost interest though-pity, lots of potential.

New Years Eve...first class organisation, controlled access, free (lovely) nibbles and a great crowd.

Mnnn...it's come a long way but...it could be time to appoint a proper manager who can apply a systematic approach to all aspects of business in this lovely old boozer.

This pub has had a complete turn around in the last year.
It can be what you want it to be.! Be boring if you are boring, OR enjoy a stress free environment and have a laugh.

The new Landlord has turned this pub into the kind of place it should be, a family orientated pleasant environment with children well catered for at sensible prices.

The range of beers is also much better but more surprisingly, it has clean gents toilets which is quite unusual for a pub in this area.

This pub is getting better due much improved staff. A good pub food menu is available at reasonable prices. However, some improvement in beer keeping may help to further.

A old man's pub or a pub just to sit quietly in and chat [or in other words to be boring in!].
