please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

I find this place a hangout for people that have been barred from the other pubs in the area.
It's not a great pub over the last few years but some of the regulars are fantastic and they have been very loyal. I've not been in there since Christmas 2007 but I've been told it's worse than ever.

The Three horseshoes

2008 BBQ wild with regular chefs Pims and Buggy cooking up a variety of Indian curry. The pub has a good atmosphere but could do with a major makeover. The drinks are pretty expensive compared to other local competitive pubs/bars. The pubs regulars (most wanted) include Simon, Argy, Tim, Des, Buggy, Pims, Rush, Eggy, CJ, Dee, Trevor head of security (Zzzzzz), Andy, Bassi and many more. I would recommend a visit. New visitors get a free drink tomorrow ;)

Ive been drinking at this pub for at least 9 years now; it has become one of the worst pubs in the borough. In the last year or so it has become a magnet for local drug dealers/hookers as a hang out and a place for them. A lot of locals have stopped coming to the pub due to this, also because the pub is now very run down. The toilets are not fit for animals to let alone humans, the men have to use the ladies toilet most of the time. Sometimes theres only 1 toilet to use on a busy Saturday night between the men & ladies. The landlord has his dogs behind the bar, which cause a bad smell thought out the pub, I was there 1 night where the dog done a sh*t on the carpet, Ive heard this has happened a few times. Also there is a large community of travellers that drink there know, it does not infect me but does infect others specially the older locals. There also been a lot of trouble there recently windows being smashed/ fights etc, police are called on a regular basis. And on the weekend its a health & safety hazard, the staff lock the both front gates with pad lock by 11pm, whilst the pub is full of people being served till 1am. If a fire broke out it could be deadly an issue that the pub owners/management/council need look at.

This was such a good pub back in the days, clean, tidy, a top atmosphere. I think over the years it has had bad management, from the pubs owners (pubs & bars) so they can save money this is proof by the state the pub is in, to the present staff & landlord.

This pub is in need of desperate injection of money for a total refit, new staff & management from bottom to top including a new strict policy asp.

THE THREE HORSE SHOE IS A NICE PUB. I HAVE BEEN DRINKING THERE FOR OVER 11 YEARS, I KNOW ALL OF THE LANDLADY AND LANDLORDS THAT HAVE PASSED THOUGH THIS PUB. THE PUB OF CAUSE IS STILL A GOOD PUB, BUT IS NOT AT ITS PEAK AND THAT IS BECAUSE IT NEEDS THE RIGHT KIND OF ATTENTION, LIKE FOR INSTANTS WHEN TESSA WAS THERE SHE WAS THE BEST LAND LADY THAT EVER PASSED THOUGH THAT PUB, THEN THERE WAS SIOBHAN AND THEN JERRY, THESE PEOPLE PUT SO MUCH HARD WORK IN TO THE DAY TO DAY RUNNING OF THE PUB, AND THEY ALWAYS HAD SMILES ON THERE FACE. NO MATTER THE WEATHER TRADITIONAL PUBLICANS, THEN YOU HAVE GOOD OLD DES, HE IS THE LONGEST AND MOST LOYAL PERSON TO THE PUB, HE DOES THE MUSIC ON SATURDAYS, THAT IS THE BEST DAY TO VISIT THE PUB. BETWEEN 930PM AND CLOSE DES IS THE DJ FOR THAT PUB. AND HAS BEEN VERY LOYAL DESPITE HAVING ONE BAD ORDEAL IN THE PUB. HE HAS REMAIN FAITHFULL TO HIS JOB, FOR OVER 15 YEARS. THIS YEAR, SOMETIMES WE FEEL THAT HE AND HE DJ PARTNERS, WHICH CONSISTED OF THE LATE NEVEL WHO SADLY PASSED LAST YEAR, AND ZEPH AND THE YOUNGEST BOOTY, HE ALSO HAS A DAUGHTER WHO HELPS OUT SOMETIMES CALLED PRINCESS. SHE IS GOOD COMPANY, FOR ANY LADYS WHO FEEL A LITTLE LONLEY ON SAT.ARE NOT APPRECIATED AS MUCH AS THEY SHOULD BE. AS THEY HAVE PUT ALOT OF HARD WORK INTO THIS PUB.THERE IS A VERY MIXED CROWD ON SATURDAY, WITH A LARGE VARITEY OF MUSIC, SO COME ALONG AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A FRIENDLY FACE SOMEWHERE FOR YOU TO TALK TO.IM A BIG FAN AND GO THERE EVERY WEEK HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON, ITS NOT A BAD PUB TO GO TO AT ALL, ANY WAY HOPE YOU LIKE MY MESSAGE AND TAKE A CHANCE POP IN U. WILL LIKE IT, SCORPION FAN XX P.S MAKE IT A DATE, AND YOU NO WHAT THEY SAY, DONT BE LATE. HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR SELF. P.S THIS IS THE BEST PUB IN SOUHALL ALL THE OTHER PUBS HAVE MEN WANTING TO TOUCH LADYS AND LOADS OF PERVERTS.BYE4NOW

It's a warm cosy pub. Bar staff are very friendly and chatty if your alone.Beer is accepttabe, but I'd stick to bottles. Not so great if your a woman.
Seems to be filled with elderly men with lecherous and wondering eyes.
Stop in for one drink then leave very quickly.

Well looks like I have the honour of making the first comment on this pub, which I visited yesterday.
It's not an unpleasant pub, located bang in the centre of Southall by the crossroads. I had a pint of Guinness as the only real ale on was London Pride, which no one seemed to be drinking. Big screen was showing live football - Newcastle v Spurs. No food.
Not particularly busy, but then this is Southall and Indians aren't great pub goers, are they ?
In conclusion, this is not a pub worth going out of your way to visit, but I would certainly pop in again for a pint if I happened to be passing by.
