I could not finish my beer because of the flies that kept flying into it.

We have come to Kings Lynn for a weeks break. Unfortunately we have not found any pubs that we have liked and this one is no exception. King Lynn is so run down I do not think it could support a good pub.

Going down the pan faster than any other local.
Great place in times gone by, now dead during the day and full of luney tunes at night.
No real ale on but pumps still there

What a great place to be on a Saturday night I have seen some spectacular live bands here in a great atmosphere

Not bad food during the day and a half decent pint of adnams.
Nice looking pub from the outside, the interior lets it down and the natives are not the most friendly I've met.

A very nice pint of adnams 2 be had here, and friendlier service than the crown & mitre. 8/10

I happen to know a lot of history of all old pubs in Lynn which has seen the ghost . And I have picked the Ye Olde Maydens Heade because of it's hauntiness on which I have read in one of Vera Witts books . What I like to know is what are the deeds of that place

A fantastic pub, filled nightly with friendly (although slightly mentally impaired) rockers of a variety of ages. On Friday & Saturday nights there's usually a band playing, and a few good-humoured yet pissed-up local folk attempting to dance. They sure don't make 'em like this no more, I wish this was my local.
