Visited this pub with a group of 12 other friends. We were tempted by their good value meals. We were made to queue us at the bar while one barman served us, even though there were 2 other staff behind the bar. It took them over 30 minutes to take our orders and serve us drinks, each time we ordered another meal 10 minutes was added to the wait time for food. Once we'd all ordered it took another hour before the first meal arrived, even though we specified it didn't need to arrive together. Do not go to this pub for food if there is more than four of you as the staff just can't cope.

If you want another chain feeling pub with garden peas served with everything and the usual , "whose next" bar maids and lager, smooth and cider, Stowells on tap, then you'll love it here. If you want atmosphere, good real ale and home cooking go elsewhere. Sharon and Tracy would love this pub. If you use the Bailgate as a warm up for the beers in LN2 or Walkabout here's your place.
