Hi
I am the old manager of the force & firkin and I have the old firkin mirror that was at the end of the bar. If interested in buying it then please email me and make me a offer. I can also send u pictures if interested.

New manager been there a while now and the place seems to be getting better. Less of the fools hanging about it now anyway so most nights you can have a beer in peace and te draught guinness is lovely mmmmm

Has all the appeal of a punctured colostomy bag - and as for the service and beer? I can't even be arsed.

The guvnor has gone, the replacement guvnor has gone, the present guvnor is temporary and the place seems to have lost its heart. Shame coz its trouble free (its next to the Police station) but its definitely NOT smoke free. If you've given up buying fags this is the place to come for some those passive smokers amongst you.

The guvnor's gone, the pub's no longer the same.

Time to drink elsewhere.

The "guvnor" makes this pub.

Use to be average, now it's great. Always lively, always friendly and the beer tastes nice. Not too much else you could want from a pub.

Come and drink in here.

Since the new guvnor has taken over its a quality place to go. Very friendly staff, not full of kids but at the same time has a young crowd in there as well as older people. It has a great atmosphere and the beer is very cheap! Definitely the best pub in cheshunt.

Scruffy, but really friendly bar staff, cheap drinks and its open late. People in the pub are friendly and it doesn't have the same scally atmosphere as The King James and the Rose and Crown. Not full of kids like the other pubs in the Old Pond (by kids I mean 16 year olds).
