On a normal day, the Bricklayers is a fairly spacious high street pub but on match day, the beast is unleashed and it turns into a whirlpool of Spurs fans crammed nose to nose, chanting, singing and generally being raucous in the nicest possible way. You will not see your feet during the term of your visit and the bar (if you get that far) is guaranteed to be dripping with spilt beer. The bar frame has a large gap that opens like the parting of the waves and upon arrival you will find that you are up against 200 people all wanting to be served at the same time. Best of luck. Of course you could just go in an soak up the atmosphere. The interior contains a vast collection of football shirts, scarves, pictures flags, posters etc. and it’s not all Spurs – Chesterfield, AFC Wimbledon, Blackpool and Scunthorpe are just some of the interlopers that have their colours flying high on the ceiling. If you are really lucky you can sit in some of the old numbered wooden seats rescued from one of the old demolished stands. Naturally, in such a sports orientated pub, there are the usual plasma and big screens and like most of the pubs around the immediate ground area, no Real Ales. If after all the anti Arsenal songs and Chas N Dave medleys you are still unsure of where you are, there is a signpost on the way out directing you to White Hart Lane. Just follow the crowd.

Really nice pub. Shame it gets too busy on match days though.

Decent pub.Decent guvnor.Guinnesss excellent. Got football shirts from all over the country on the walls except Arsenal and celtic....Quality!!!!

Well positioned on the High Rd, good choice of beers, friendly staff. Lots of Spurs history on the walls, if that's of interest. Clean facilities. Mad on a home matchday, at other times a good spot for a quiet refreshing drink.

Think flamejob is talking about a different pub as this one is on Tottenham High Street. Although tatty, grubby flea pit on Tottenham High Road seems remarkably apt. On matchdays it's full of the kind of annoying fans that sing their heads off in the pub and then shut up once inside the ground, or worse the kind of plum who shows up to a pub near the ground on matchdays in a football shirt, sings songs at the top of his voice but stays in the pub instead of going to the game. Seats ripped from the old stands make a nice feature for Spurs fans (like myself for my sins!) but really not a very nice place at all.
