Are we all talking about the same pub here?? The only good thing about the place was that it had a late license. Oh, and watch out for the Saturday night Karoke! Shocker!! This is a local pub for local people. Need I say more.

Yes, I have been to this pub. I watched the Rugby there. I went for the first time, and left as though i'd been a hundred times. Everyone was very welcoming. There was a band on as well, and it was the one mentioned in previous reviews, Contraband. Very professional, excellent entertainment. Keep an eye out for them. The landlord and his wife are really nice. Well done the Ryan's for a great evening and a really great band.

Always something going on and I've tried the lot!!
Tuesday quiz night...good crowd, good prize money and questions that I could answer (some of them anyway)
Thursday Jam....A complete mixture of talents, some you want to stop and some you want to go on all night!
Sat Night..Always a good band.
Sun....Poker tournament, new one on me, but they help you through and teach you how to lose gently......
Wouldn't drink anywhere else in the area..

Do not listen to drinkingtunbridgewells !!. This is one of the friendliest, happiest pubs in the area. This is just a few doors away from where my wife works, and I only use it in frequently, but what a nice place !!. The Publicans are so friendly, and always welcome you. They do live bands as well on Saturdays, the best is a band called Contraband. Wow, the place rocks when they are there. Check it out and you won't be disappointed (good Chinese opposite as well, and a kebab shop just up the road).

The quiz nights are fun. Graeme, the landlord, is a friendly bloke.

The eclectic mix of stuff hanging on and off the walls gives the pub an unusual look.

Great little Irish type pub. Always something going on and you are guaranteed a friendly welcome. Beer is always great and service can't be faulted. May seem cliquey at first but try starting a conversation and you will be treated like a regular! Excellent place!

Now got Sky Sports and showing all Premiership games!
They tell me it's on trial and hard to justify the cost, so SUPPORT it!
Don't like sports? Ryans have cleverly seperated the bars and you can barely hear the noise from the saloon bar which remains the same as always.
Paddy's Day tomorrow. Was here last year and the place was rocking! Can't wait for a repeat performance!
This place just improves all the time!

Couldn't agree more, Graeme and Sinead are great hosts. You are always made to feel welcome. Plenty going on all the time. Quiz on Tuesday, live band thursday and Saturday

A really friendly local!
Changed from the FD last year and after years of the place going downhill (mainly due to the Chavs & Cokeheads!), it is a welcome change with Sinead & Graham behind the bar.
She is true Irish, has a great sense of humour and smiles!
Quiz nights, Crib, pool, domino's etc. This is a real local's pub, run by people that care.
