user reviews of the Brunswick Arms, Poplar

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

The Brunny was never the greatest pub in the world but it served its purpose in a location that is painfully short of anywhere to grab a pint. The pub is currently in the process of being demolished creating an even bigger void in a supposedly up and coming area. From a drinkers prospective, I ceratinly wouldn't want to live or work around here as things stand.

New seating area outside, allowing those few days of sunshine to be aqppreciated.
Families welcome.
Quiz on Sundays, as well as various fund-raising nights and karaoke on Thursdays.
Check it out if you want to see a local, in-expensive pub!

One of the few remaining East-End pubs in the area.
Rough to look at, due to the numerous builders who've frequented the place over the years, it can be a great place to have a damned-good booze-up.
Pool tabel, outside seating, and SKY TV.
