Formaly known as M-Bargo....rush has arrived not much different than M-bargo really just a quick paint job...the doorman are good and seem to keep the chavs out though nothing new or exciting to make me want to go back.

mbargo was in the last 7 monthes the best pub in swindon it was only closed down due to the incompitence of the previous manager who was to lazy to put any effort into the day to day running and the police and local council used mbargo to stamp there authority and set an example to the other bars in the area most of wich have by far more trouble the likes of cas bar and bedroom bar and the big fish have more trouble than mbargo ever did . R.I.P mbargo.

Mbargo has a reputation for trouble, which I decided to test.
To be fair I didn't get into a fight. Then again, it was a Tuesday and I was the only person in there.

Staff were friendly (to me at least) and if you like fizzy beers this is probably OK for you.

Not a good atmosphere at all! Toilets are disgusting!
Is a hostile & unfriendly environment, not reccommended!

also drinks arent that expensive especially compared to yates they are cheap they still do good deals and the toilets each have their own personal staff to hold out smellys and sweets for the ladies not sure about blokes so it adds about of class and luxury. id rather go in mbargo than any other pub round swindon and fights start anywhere and everywhere so it isnt just mbargo

were regulars in this bar every weekend and it is fab. yeah the toilets could do with improving, but hay its the same in every bar you go in. the music is great and the coctail menu is awesome as it has cocktails on there i have never heard of, not the usual sex on the beach here. as for trouble i see more in other bars, i.e next door to mbargo sinking fish. hee hee hee.

I'm surprised the police haven't shut this place down. A girl was bottled when I was in there. Toilets are absolutely disgusting and there were only 2 working when the bar was full to capacity. Really smokey and broken glass everywhere. Staff were friendly but the guy who served me seemed to be drunk!!

WOW its totaly amazing!!!! Where can I start, the cocktails are unique, modern & new. The Horn, by far my favourite.
Its great to see some quality PLASMAS in town at long last showing all the top sporting events(unlike the tacky Aussie pub next door).
The atmosphere is buzzing on a weekend with a chilled Mowtown night on sundays.
Barmaids are by far the hottest in town, theres everything from busty blondes, to pretty brunettes with cute bums.
At last Swindon has a stylish bar well worth visiting, in my opinion the towns new number1 venue

I was really excited to go to the opening night but really let down after going through the doors. I was greeted by the owner of mbargo himself who seemed and honest & friendly gentleman. It was a nice touch.
The place itself is not much different from the previous Bar me - just with a lick of paint. It stil has completly the same layout, still has the same broken toilet doors, but now with a spectacular looking bar. The clientle is still pretty much the same as it was when Bar me was there.... nuff said. Needless to say, I stayed to be polite in the meeting of the important people in the swindon social scene, had my free drink and left rather promptly. A big disappointment I'm afraid.

If past performances are anything to go by, all the pubs that have been sited here have all gone tits up. I think the property is jinxed or it may have been built on an ancient indian burial ground. I do wish you all the best though, and hope you succeed.
