Always a friendly welcome from Elaine and Billy. Beautiful views from the large beer garden.
Can get a bit crowded at times, but is understandable for a small pub. Would be marked higher if there was a larger selection of real ales.

The best pub in Westbury on Trym with the best pint of Guinness you will taste for miles. The LL and LL are the nicest people you will meet and its a pleasure to call this pub my local

After a pleasant couple at the Post Office, a venture up the hill to the Mouse. During the day it is a very quiet, pleasant pub with a garden with great views although could do with a bit of TLC. The beers were Deuchars and Theakston with the former in excellent nick. HOWEVER, do not come here if your idea of going out means not watching TV. The locals were in on Sat night with the effing X Factor blaring out from the big screen. Sorry to labour a point, but isn't that precisely what you go out to avoid? The atmosphere was a bit 'in your face' with forty-something muttoners dressed like tarts, shrieking at each other while waiting for taxis to arrive so that they could hit the town. Their blokes looked fresh from a holiday at HMP. Also, strangely, there was a 10 or 11 old girl wearing pyjamas (shall I assume she was the LL's daughter?) going from table to table bothering people. Bizarre place, somewhere that David Lynch might find inspiration from.

Nice friendly local, it feels like that you are drinking in someones front room.
Has a nice garden with a fantastic views, which will be ieal for summer drinking. Also has a very nice flower displays.
Only downside? Limited choice of real ale for my other half.

This pub has gone up in my estimation since I met two other Palace fans in here watching the game on Monday just gone.

This also has a pleasant little beer garden at the side, with - at the present at least - a very attractive view, particularly for an urban pub.

No dog any more (sigh) but still a cracking pub.

Small, friendly alehouse. Like a sitting room with beer. Good food and the friendliest dog in the west.
