This establishment is called the Betsy Smith now. They wanted 3 to get in at 10pm on a Friday night, when I stopped by. So I didn't go in. I call that a fail for a pub, maybe it's OK for a club.

Now called the Betsy Smith. Still does the pizza deal at lunchtime and the big screen has gone. Very much a wine, cocktails and snacks place for couples during the week. Wouldn't go there for a night but a nice addition to the high road as somewhere to take a partner for a wine and a slightly upmarket snack.

Place has a chequered history was a lively and friendly atmosphere a few years ago until the less law-abiding members of the community started to frequent whereupon every one else departed.

Miserable dump for a few years its now been turned into a bar/pizzeria. Comfy decor drinks not too pricey, certainly an improvement one of the better pubs this end of the high road

Now called OSTERIA DEL PONTE. One of the nicer pubs at this end of the Kilburn High road, but unfortunately the perpetually miserable bar manager and a few of the staff have the inconvenient task of actually serving customers!!! These have to be some of the most sour people in North London, which lets downs what could potentially be a really good pub.

Half of it seems to be reserved as a restaurant which is always empty, the pub section is normally quite busy you would have thought they would have taken the step to turn the restaurant into a larger bar, but I guess that would lead to more work for the staff so that will never happen.

And why, in December, they persist in leaving the doors open I do not know, your customers are sitting in their coats!!!

I never went to this pub when it was still the Bridge Tavern but I go regularly since it became Osteria Del Ponte. Its divided into two bits - the front half is a pub and the back is a restaurant. The food is excellent, the pizzas in particular, and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly (though not always as speedy as you might want). The pub part is pleasant - there are plenty of comfortable sofas if you like that sort of thing. The place is usually busy - reassuring - but not crowded - which is annoying. It's the best pub at that end of Kilburn by a long. long way and I thoroughly recommend it.

ive gotta say,..this place used to be an absolute hole,..but its been given a total makeover by some sicilian family,..now calling it "Osteria del Ponte",..its now kitted out well and serves the most wicked/cheap pizzas,...not necessarily "a boozer" now,..more a restaurant really,..but it still shows the football and they've forceout the bums. Only drawback is the continental attitude to service,..i've seen a few people get the hump at the waiting time in there. Like i said,..not really a pub now but worth checking out if you wanna break from the rest of the lunacy on the high road.

Used to be rubbish, but at least it had two superb pool tables. Now it's just rubbish.

Nice layout for a pub, just a shame about everything else in there.
