Food not always the best quality, but it's typical of your Harvester/Hungry Horse/whatever else type pub, but.............
The Landlady - Miranda, is an absolute DOLL!!
Gorgeous - "well built" might be a good analogy.
I have seen her out running in the morning as well and I can tell you - she looks HOT in lycra!
Worth a visit just to see her!
** BTW - the assistant manager is called Wendy - complete opposite! A "short" grumpy pain in the 'arris - but then there's Miranda!! ;)

Its about food nowadays and kids, so if you have kids, like deep fried food and dont like ale give it a whirl.

Very big Greene King pub with separate bar from the lounge /diner.The food we had was ok but same old menu. Ale on pump wasGK IPA and Speckled Hen which was very good.Pleasant staff ,clean and tidy. I would say a popular local.

Also very popular with funeral parties form the crematoriumn
