Went in here years ago before an Exeter v Plymouth football match.
This is the only time i could see this place getting busy as it feels very isolated once here.
Needless to say it is now shut and is student accomodation.

5/10

You'd have a job to have a quick one here now, its closed and boarded.

Popped in here for a quick one on the way back to the tation. Unsurprisingly it was busy after the game. Only Tribute was on. OK place as a stopgap but you're not going to spend any time in here.

The Landlord Colin and his good lady Karen are building up a great reputation for providing good quality entertainment on the weekends. The bar staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are also starting to do food and whilst at present this is only Monday eve (wicked chilli 1.75) and Friday eve (great curries) they are freshly prepared and only use the best ingredients. Colin has hinted that he will be doing Sunday lunches soon too. Well worth a visit! Especially you students, where else you gonna get home cooked food on your doorstep for the price. Great beer too. The smoking/decking area is well lit, heated and covered what more can you ask for. The pub is in great hands at the moment and whilst true it is still in transition it can only get better with time and of course more support.

about 15 mins' walk from home park if you're there for a game. standard pub with pool and darts and a weird mixture of furniture in the back room. friendly staff.

Not the best pub by some distance, but friendly enough for away fans if you're here for the football. Since it's heading away from the town it does feel somewhat isolated and can't really boast any notable local character - but as a stop-gap to stave off the headache after the long train journey you will have inevitably endured getting here, it does an adequate job. Plastic 'glasses' on matchday, Booo!!
