Friendly local in a great location with views of the famous Pontcysyllte aqueduct. Well worth a visit.

Made famous by Eddie Izzard this pub excels at welcoming flotsam and jetsam off the Shropshire Union Canal. Watch out for the excellent rib eye steaks and the lounge charity bookshop, one of the largest in Chirk Bank.

very friendly staff. Debbie and Martin arranged a nice birthday evening for my wife this year. And in June we will be back to one of the best pubs we know (16th time we stay around Chirk)

Whilst travelling on the Llangollen Canal, my new wife and I decided to moor at bridge 21 for the evening and enjoy some food here for dinner. Regrettably they didn't do food on tuesdays and thus we had to trudge all the way to chirk and back for our evening meal. Please, food 7days a week.

a very nice place with very nice people. I stayed there 2 or 3 times a year and met friends when I#m there from Germany. Hello to the staff and to Daniel the best drummer in Wales!

Recently taken over by Martin and Debbie.
Good atmosphere, great food, just off the Llangollen Canal at Chirk Bank so popular with bargees.
Nice pint of Abbots.
