New tenants in 2016 have really turned this place around. Three well-kept ales (Harveys and 2 guests) always availabe. Excellent, well-priced food available at both lunchtmes and evenings most days of the week and weekend.

Dreadful atmosphere, the place has gone right down recently. The new owners are most unfriendly. Avoid like the plague!

Went in here just after mid day last Saturday so they had only just opened.
Wooden interior furniture and floor.
A nice brick fire place was on in the middle of the floor.
Bit of background music playing.
They have 4 hand pulls but two had their clips turned round.
The other two were Youngs Bitter and Harveys Best Bitter.
I had a pint of the latter which was very nice and cost £3.45.

Went here for lunch with friend. We were warmly welcomed and had a good menu to choose from. We decided on a cheddar ploughmans and a stilton ploughmans. Both excellent value for money. Good quality cheese and plenty of accompaniments. Not overwhelmed with salad to make the portion look bigger! Very friendly staff. Will definitely be returning.

Just re-opened under new management. Like the changes, good beer good food, and a great couple behind the bar. Good atmosphere.

Just re-opened under new operator Tom Snook. The pub has been re-decorated and the pool table has gone. We received a very warm welcome in this clean pub offering 4 real ales, a variety of lagers and sensible wine list. The food menu looks good and is reasonably priced.

Beer substandard, and possibly the worst chips in Kent. Rapper sword friendly.

Roomy large pub.bar service variable depending on who serves you.Parking nearby can be tricky at best.Bar area clean and appears well managed.Beers and ales good as is food. Some minor problems with locals who seem to think they "own" the place so watchout for the usual chavs and unsavoury drunks at the weekends.Good live music on occasion and other events etc .has good potential to be better with more attention to how its run.

Quite nice pub but this pub lets anyone in here hence some unsavoury characters puts you off drinking in there to be honest
