Popped in for a quick pint last week. Nothing fancy but the London Pride was OK (only one real ale depite 3 pumps). Place was quiet but it was a Monday afternoon.

Not the smartest pub you'll ever come across and you wouldn't exactly spend an entire evening in here but it does the job. A nice spacious pool room as well which is always a bonus.
Special mention to the pleasent barman. I wouldn't much fancy his job of standing around having to talk to the local alcoholics.

This is quite easily the best pub in Acton. All of the staff are extremely proffessional. The drinks and food are not only well presented but are not over priced. The choice of beers is very comprehensive and the menu, although limited, meets everyday requirements. Well done.

Once a buzzing kick-arse pub with bar-staff that must have slept with every tramp that walked through its doors (remember Caroline & Tara?) but it has seriously gone downhill in the past 10 years. I was in there recently one saturday and there was hardly any people inside, no atmosphere nor music. Whatever happened to the friday/saturday night fights, the ear-piercing karaoke squealers that thought they could sing, the big, bulldog bouncers & the ugly slappers? Perhaps they all killed eachother or went down with some nasty STD.

I was here 4 years ago and I'm sure it wasn't as bad as the utter dump it is now. Avoid at all costs.

If your looking for sad women in their fourties dressed as mutton then this is the place to be on a Fri & Sat night

An old fashioned working man's pub for post-work drinking. Friendly enough service, always at least one dog present at the bar. Big screen TV for sports matches. Serves cheap and cheerful pub food, and a similar style Chinese restaurant is attached. Beer on tap is not the best though - the bottles are much safer.
