A small pleasant corner pub in an older part of Epsom .They have four handpumps.Today the range included two ales from Tim Taylors The Landlord and Golden ale.The Golden was very good indeed. The interior has suffered a bit from modernisation bu tis probably better than many other pubs, it appeared to have a decent bunch of regulars who were of the welcomimg variety.Well worth a visit.

Fine pub with fine beer and punters. Plenty of screens to show footy/cricket/rugger and they do the now rare Sunday pub perks - the cheese on the bar and the meat raffle. Hidden gem very close to the equally Barley Mow.

Another gem in Epsom another real pub good beer friendly staff a regulars pub but friedily to all no beer garden well a little one with couple of benches which caches all of the summer sun worth a look in

Nice and friendly small pub but maybe they are trying to have too many ales on at once. One apparently not very good. Still it was pleasant to be riding down that street and find a pub I'd heard of but never been in.

Went to see a small live band in there last weekend. Nice atmosphere, great music - excellent musicianship and a very nice London Pride on tap.

A smallish but very nice pub.

Rugby Pub!! Locals only. They'd still be smoking if they could. Politely, in need of renovation. Don't bother.

Returned recently and can't believe how much it has gone downhill. Music way too loud, very poor service. Utter shame

Popped in here for a quick couple after the Barley Mow. Stayed open late, was served around 11.30 I think. Landlord, Black Sheep Bitter, Pride and Bomabardier, clip for Spitfire was turned around. Bigger on the inside than it looks, goes back a fair way. Reasonably cheap beer for the area, ok.

Locals' pub with probably the best choice of real ales in Epsom. Good beer and service. No food (but I'm advised that one may take one's own or have a takeaway delivered). Not palatial, but certainly real.

When i saw this pub from the outside i thought it would be a great place for a nice pint of ale.
Sadly not - it's in dire need of refurbishment and an injection of atmosphere.
Very much a 'locals' pub and you're made to feel that when you go in.

Walk 30 seconds down the road to the Barley Mow - it is better in every respect...

Now the Rising Sun around the corner is an expensive soleless chain pub this oasis for ale and rugby fits the bill on match days.

A small locals' bar a short walk from the town centre. Everybody appears to know everybody else, a bit off putting if you are not a local! A good range of real ales, including some unusual ones. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Comfortable but certainly not plush.

Great selection of beers, very professional bar staff. Excellent atmosphere for sporting events particularly rugby.

A real back street local with a good range of Ales. Quite a small pub with locals congregating around the bar which can sometimes impede swift. However, it is well worth it when you get your pint.

My favourite locals pub in epsom. An excellent range of ales changed weekly, friendly staff and locals. Great atmosphere for watching rugby and footie.

This pub must sell the best range of real ales in Epsom, beautifully presented and always changing. Knowledgeable topers frequent this pub which is definitely for the serious beer drinker.

Not necessarily a place to take wife/girlfriend.

New Thai food facility yet to be tested.
