Do not spend your hard earned money here.
Door staff is rude and will throw you out without an explanation. It happened to me and a few friends. After buying some drinks they asked us to leave. We asked why but they wouldn't tell us. We wanted to finish our drinks first so asked politely if thats possible. However, after a few mins they then manhandled me (one had his arm around my neck) and then proceeded to throw me out of the club.
In short, rude and intimidating door staff. Rather than talking to you they would rather use unreasonable force.

I agree msdoom, I follow the live bands that play there which have also started to play on Saturday nights. So it's not the best place to enjoy cask ales but the staff are efficient and friendly. It's a nightclub not a pub so you take it as you find it. I think Sam is doing a great job.

seriously though, it's not a place i'd visit unless it is rock night on the 1st thursday of the month. even that night is a bit hit and miss - get better bands playing!? unless you're into chart dance music, i wouldn't really bother unless you're super drunk.
put the use of the old cinema to waste.

Even tuesdays pants now,its full of wannabe princesses who think they Fergie out of the black eyed peas and desperate blokes who are trying to get some hostie action and give them an STD,musics too loud,not even good tunes,beers cheap which is about all its got going for it but dont even try and get in in trainers because cheapo Matalan loafers are the way to go here,leave any streak of individuality at the door,along with your dignity and,for the girls,BEWARE THE STALLION OF BAR MED!Oh and the doormen are cocks but thats the same at any bar innit.Peace.

Urg! its a good idea, brannigans and ikon, or liquid as it is soon to be, isnt much in the way of competition but the experience is horrid. There are far too many people in there, the layout is rediculous meaning the queue for the bar, people dancing and anyone desperately trying to get to the toilet at the back end of the bar all crash into each other! I think the air con has never been turned on, seriously sardines in a tin!!
The music is fine, bit of a mixture, the crowd are a good laugh, not too many shady of chav characters, just the layout and far too many people and it being too hot destroys the whole evening

thursday nights were excellent until they changed it to an 'under 18 chavvy rnb night' tuesdays are good if you dont mind shit music.

Crap pub . Avoid! unless you want to get humiliated by the apelike doormen ,disrespected by the coatcheck girl, ignored by the barstaff, elbowed by the clique crawley crowd and spill your drink on some muppets girlfreind and get "offered out" by a pissed up idiot.

This was once the town cinema. Crawley was an early overspill town for inner London,and so is a detached portion of South Essex. Most nights this place is lively with lads with brawny arms and hairy thighs, and girls with hairy arms and brawny thighs. Lots of 9 carat jewellery, all very chav.
