In process of having overdue interior refurb and looking good. Affiliated to CAMRA and Ales are both good and varied. Food offering much improved and good value. Nice garden and seating area. Pool and Darts, Live Music, Friendly service and worth a visit.

Largish car park that allows parking for about 3 cars cos the rest of the space is taken up by a vintage bus and bloody hand car wash merchants. Running a pub in Slough is always going to be difficult since it's Chav City so let's look at the positives........ the M4 is only a few minutes away. Turn right for Wales.

This pub is much improved from the 'old days' since the current manager took over, and the choice of beers has increased too. Apparently, they're going to get a regular change of Guest Ales on the bar, and are even canvassing the customers to choose their favourites. The word on the street is that Old Speckled Hen is a clear favourite at the local bookies, and to be honest I can't say I'm surprised. Good choice lads. Better get the order in, Becky.

Not far from the station. Warm atmosphere. Well & comfortably furnished. Meals also available and are tasty, fresh and hearty at great value. New management and great start to 2009!! Car park. Small garden.

A decent pub in a town that gets an unfairly bad press - largely perpetrated by people who object to multiculturalism. Excellent snacks on the bar and a good place to watch the football.

Nice pub. Good food and beer. Agree with the previous poster about the 'football element'. Get rid of these it will easily be the best pub in town.

Nice freindly local pub, good beer, pleasant staff, and just round the corner from where I live.

Much improved from the old days, apart from the Arsenal fans on Saturday afternoon, but the locals are fine.

Good fun quiz on a Sunday night (normally won by Simon !! )

The food is good, but the kitchen shuts at about 6p.m. during the week which is a pain, if you work late.

Well-used garden, and ample parking (for non-drinkers)
Getting busier all the time, and probably one of the best pubs in Slough

Much improved since the new management team took over.

The beer has improved, and food is much more reliable, as the kitchen appears tyo be open at the stated times.

Friendly locals, and helpful staff (but sometimes go AWOL for a smoke.)

Pleasant garden, seating area at the front also, with fine hanging baskets. Good for 'watching the World go by.'

recently under new management, decent beer when you can get one as staff tend to be outside smoking, small dog and parrot add to the atmosphere, yeah right, not to mention the small kids running around , beer garden could be better but not bad in the good weather, was a great pub until a few years ago, most of the regulars are friendly enough but language is choice, not a family pub,,

Very respectable pub sitting on a roundabout at the back of Slough, a few minutes walk from the High Street. Real, cask and guest Ales, a garden, good parking, and good food.
