Pitcher & Piano Have done this some justice, really quick service, friendly bar and door staff and decent air con compared to other outlets in exeter, may only be pedigree on tap ale-wise but was expecting that. 8/10

Now closed. The building will become part of the 'Pitcher & Piano' bar chain from 16th March.

This dump has the most staggeringly rude staff I have ever had the misfortune to witness. In a city bereft of decent boozers this stands out as one of the worst.

Great pub with an excellent atmosphere at the weekend. Shame about the service.

Possibly one of the finest pubs in Exeter. How people can post comments such as overpriced when they offer bottles of grolsh,vk,corona and smirnoff ice at 2 for 3.50 and offer the chance to double up on a major spirits for 1 is beyond me!! What are you lot, a bunch of cheap skates? Only downers are the staff and I presume the manager, who appear more like zombies than people enjoying being at work!! This aside, its still the place to be on a weekend night...

Over priced and horrible atmosphere. Full of ponces and not worth entering, when they are many better pubs a short walk away.

scary rules about how to dress after certain time in the evening
, but really best not to stay there that long any way!

Expensive and unfriendly was my observation recently. Mind you I found the whole of Exeter city centre quite intimidating after dark. Maybe I should take up Kung Fu or summat!
